Our Maintenance Philosophy
Our philosophy is that the best kind of maintenance is preventive maintenance, or PM. We believe that monitoring your system for potential problems is much more cost effective and guarantees uptime better than waiting for your system to break and running in like the fire department. We might look like heroes in the short term if we can get your system back up in the event of a disaster. But, we would much rather prevent the failure in the first place. Wouldn't you? Also, a monitoring system without human intervention is not truly effective. We will not push monitoring and then not actually monitor the monitor like some other companies. If you are paying for monitoring, you deserve to be monitored with human intervention to determine the validity and meaning of the messages received. The whole point is to be aware of potential problems and to prevent failure, not simply to pad billing.
